Crock Pot Candy
Ingredients
| 1 | 16 oz. jar roasted, unsalted peanuts |
| 1 | 16 oz. jar roasted, salted peanuts |
| 1 | 12 oz. package semi-sweet chocolate chips |
| 1 | bar (4 ozs.) german chocolate, broken into pieces |
| 3 | lbs. (two 24 oz. pkgs.) white almond bark, broken into piecesDirections1 Put ingredients into a 4 or 5-quart crockpot in EXACT order as listed. Cover and cook on low 3 hours. DO NOT remove lid! Turn off and allow to cool slightly. Mixture will not be melted but will be soft. Mix thoroughly and drop by teaspoon size cookie dropper or a teaspoon onto wax paper. Let cool thoroughly. Makes approximately 150 - 170 pieces.NOTE: This candy is made best by following the recipe to the letter. Make other variations and changes at your own risk, as this is the voice of experience speaking. Please take into consideration that it may alter the quality of the finished product. Thank you and LOL! **NOTE: There seems to be discrepencies in the terms crockpot and slow cooker. This recipe is for a crockpot which, when on low, will only melt the ingredients. A slow cooker will get hotter and start to cook the ingredients, thus resulting in an inferior product. Please be aware of what kind of appliance you have. It seems the older "crockpot" works best. There have been some who have burned their ingredients because their appliance is too hot. The makers and manufacturers of these appliances seem to interchange the description of their appliances calling slow cookers crockpots. It seems that Rival owns the name crockpot, therefore, others can't use the name crockpot, they are slow cookers. It's very confusing, but slow cookers, indeed, cook hotter, which could result in burning of this recipe. There are many discussions and explanations of this subject within the comments. |

First hearing test in 7 years.
So I finally worked up a nerve to get my ears tested since we werent able to afford it. I have lost 76% in my left and 72% in my right ear and I was disappointed in myself for getting them check yearly like I was suppose to and I realized my baby was talking more and I didnt want to miss out anymore then I already have the last 2 years. I am amazed how much technology is out there now for us deaf and hard of hearing people. My husband's work insurance covers $5,000 dollars of hearing aids and every 3 years I will need new aids. I ended up getting some bad ass hearing aids!! Top of the line ones...I am very proud to announce we ended up spending $4,751.32 dollars on these bad girls lol. I got 2 chestnut browns aids very small behind the ears ones, with hot pink & glitters molds. Comes with a remote to control the tv adapter [a streamer] a port for my tv,mp3 player, and a thing for my phones [includes my home phone] like a blue tooth thing & a mic for people to talk into to get my direct attention, they promise me that it will blocked out the wind and background noise! Awesomeness right?!? I know I was so EXCITED I even screamed in the elevator on our way out to our car lol. I will be getting them next Monday [ I know I have to wait a whole week for them,I am bummed] I wanted to borrow their example for the week but they couldnt loan them out =[ But when I do get them I will for sure post pictures of everything before I install them all lol. So I have warranty on them for 2 years and all I have to worry about is being very careful with them on the 3rd year until I get new ones,By then who knows what new technology they come out with then lol. Well other then that I am a happy lucky girl. Lets hope I will prove my mom wrong about wearing them lol [love you mom]. Anyways see ya next time.

Continued...A terrible month of March
Brian went to his surgery doctor yesterday and we found out that his disk ISNT blown! Its broken so they have to go in there and take the broken chip and fix the disk and promised that when he wakes up he will no longer feel the pain in his leg =] So I am happy with that. His surgery is scheduled Tuesday morning. We are going back to the surgery doctor later this morning @ 10am for the surgery pre opt & find out the time. I am kinda nervous and happy at the same time because I cant be in there with him & I am happy because sounds like he wont be in pain anymore. Its been a really rough month for the both of us. Kinda ruined our sex life lol but I know and fully understand he is in serve pain with his leg.But he will have a full recovery and is expecting to return back to work in 7 to 10 days with restrictions for 6 months to a year.He is going to have Physical therapy to rebuild his muscles. I believe thats all the information I have until after 10am today. Thanks for all the support from my internet friends & real life friends and some of my family. We greatly appreciated everyone concerns & prayers.
