First hearing test in 7 years.
So I finally worked up a nerve to get my ears tested since we werent able to afford it. I have lost 76% in my left and 72% in my right ear and I was disappointed in myself for getting them check yearly like I was suppose to and I realized my baby was talking more and I didnt want to miss out anymore then I already have the last 2 years. I am amazed how much technology is out there now for us deaf and hard of hearing people. My husband's work insurance covers $5,000 dollars of hearing aids and every 3 years I will need new aids. I ended up getting some bad ass hearing aids!! Top of the line ones...I am very proud to announce we ended up spending $4,751.32 dollars on these bad girls lol. I got 2 chestnut browns aids very small behind the ears ones, with hot pink & glitters molds. Comes with a remote to control the tv adapter [a streamer] a port for my tv,mp3 player, and a thing for my phones [includes my home phone] like a blue tooth thing & a mic for people to talk into to get my direct attention, they promise me that it will blocked out the wind and background noise! Awesomeness right?!? I know I was so EXCITED I even screamed in the elevator on our way out to our car lol. I will be getting them next Monday [ I know I have to wait a whole week for them,I am bummed] I wanted to borrow their example for the week but they couldnt loan them out =[ But when I do get them I will for sure post pictures of everything before I install them all lol. So I have warranty on them for 2 years and all I have to worry about is being very careful with them on the 3rd year until I get new ones,By then who knows what new technology they come out with then lol. Well other then that I am a happy lucky girl. Lets hope I will prove my mom wrong about wearing them lol [love you mom]. Anyways see ya next time.
